2/10 M/W 6:30-8:30
Today we focused on hard shoe. Dancers ran each step by itself to music. Then we broke down third steps for hornpipes and treble jigs. Both groups focused on pounding out rhythm, pulling up off knees on rocks and toes, and extending kicks and drags. At the end of class, we ran all three steps to music. We discussed that it is time to start rebuilding stamina and pushing through all three steps and occasionally four steps more frequently.
