Tuesday 12/10 - 5:30-7:00

We began class with two hard shoe drills, “and 1-2 and toe” and “and 1-2 hop back click down.” During these drills, we focused on timing, appropriate foot placement, strong rhythm, and consistent lifting to the bum. We then reviewed the first step of treble jig, focusing on applying what we had worked on in drills. Parents were invited to come in and watch the last half hour of class tonight. Overall, the dancers continue to struggle with staying on time to music in hard shoes. Dancers were asked to practice saying the words of their treble jig steps to music before next week’s class.
