| Glencastle Irish Dancers, Inc. opened its doors in
the Milwaukee area on February 23, 2000. We are
proud to offer Irish dance instruction to children
and adults. Glencastle provides many aspects of
Irish dance including competition and performances.
We strive to instill the qualities of Family, Respect,
Self-Confidence and Fun to each and every dancer
that enters our classroom.
Glencastle is a small town in County Mayo,
Ireland near Belmullet and is the ancestral
home of our founder Bridget Jaskulski. Bridget’s
great grandparents were raised in Glencastle and
immigrated to the United States in the late 1800’s.
As a tribute to her family, Bridget chose Glencastle
as the name of our school. The values of family
are promoted and celebrated at Glencastle and it
is our families that drive so much of the school's
success.
From the
youngest dancer to our adult dancers, our school
maintains a strong balance between the joy of performing
and the thrill of competing, without losing sight
of the human and relational element.
