For over 25 years, Glencastle Irish Dancers has been built on a commitment to sharing the art of Irish dance and creating a strong, supportive community. At Glencastle, dancers are encouraged to grow, build confidence, and work toward their personal goals. Our training focuses on strong technique while also developing character, teamwork, and respect, instilling confidence that extends far beyond the studio.

Over the years, Glencastle dancers have earned regional and national titles, along with placements at the All Ireland, Great Britain, and World Championships, and have performed at festivals, community events, schools and venues throughout Wisconsin. Whether your goal is to learn, perform, or compete, there is a place for you at Glencastle, and we support each family in choosing the path that is right for them.

HISTORY

Glencastle_Crest_edited.png

OUR NAME

Glencastle, a small town in County Mayo, Ireland, near Belmullet, holds special significance for our owner and instructor, Bridget Jaskulski, as it is her ancestral home. Bridget's great grandparents were raised in Glencastle and immigrated to the United States in the late 1800's. As a tribute to her family roots, Bridget named our school Glencastle.

HOW WE GOT OUR START

Since February 23, 2000, Glencastle has been offering dance lessons in southeastern Wisconsin. Our children's classes initially started at the College Park School in Greendale, Wisconsin, while the adult classes began at the Celtic MKE Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
